Introduction

Welcome! You’ve taken an interest in wanting to join our moderation team, and we appreciate and welcome you to join us! We want the best of the best to moderate our community and make sure it’s a safe and enjoyable place for everyone to be themselves.

To start, we have some requirements and guidelines we need you to look over and ensure you meet and agree to our terms and conditions when creating this application.

Requirements

Before you apply, you must verify you meet all of the following to join our team:

• You must be at least 15 years of age

• You must be fluent in English

• Your discord account must have 2FA enabled and remain active

• You must have at least 2 hours of server activity (2-week grace from server opening)

• You must have…

  • Not been blacklisted on our server previously

  • No bans related to cheating, exploiting, abuse of glitches, illegal client modifications, duping, or any other method, use, or abuse thereof that grants a player an advantage over another within 90 days.

  • No infractions of any type in the past 30 days, warning excluded.

If these requirements above are not meet in full, your application will be automatically denied.

Additionally, you must be able to submit, record, or take screenshots of infractions you execute. If you are unable to do so, please tell us and we will try to work with you to find a method for submitting evidence. If you are unable to work with us or unable to submit evidence, your likelihood of joining will diminish significantly.

Guidelines

We don’t want to give you a template of how to submit your application, think of it as creating a resume for yourself. However, we’re not that serious, so if you’d like to add your own flares or special touches to make your application look good or “pretty”, then by all means! A more engaging application shows your personality to us and increases your chances, which is why we tell you to make your application and format it however you like!

However, there are some things we do need from you, guaranteed. If you forget to include any of these in your application, or we need additional information from you to continue reviewing your application, we’ll submit a reply to your application and give you the chance to submit those to us!

The following information we need from you:

• Your Minecraft name

• Your Discord username

• Your date of birth

• Your current timezone

• Your typical availability

• And any other information about you that you’d like to share with us!

We also need a bit of additional information from you. These are long-typed questions that we ask you to answer with at least 50 words per question. That’s around 300 characters per question. It's nothing too difficult, but it's enough to explain the question in enough detail.

Those questions are:

• Do you have any previous staff experience? 

  • If so, please tell us about your responsibilities and where/when you were staff. 

  • If not, tell us why you think you would be a good fit for the team.

• Why would you like to join our moderation team?

• What would you like to accomplish in joining the team?
